Who has actaully raced an NHRA event here? Maybe a hand full. IDRC,BOTI,NOPI are where majority of builders like us go not the **** run NHRA. I dont give a rats *** about what your tryin to say your implying it so ---- off. Not to mention most people here are from the NW and they dont even run an import event there and have never run one, Thanks for the pointless info. Go to h-t with the rest of the full race **** or maybe turbod16 they need some more tards. Oh and your grandma has a tiiite ***.

The jacket is $45? and you have to wear the jacket before they make you wear a helmet? I also smell politics all over this ----.

Understandable but the problem w/that is its now up to the judgment of the inspector/tech crew. Whats "well put together" to them might not have the same meaning as someone else.

i don't remember reading the jacket part.. there was a car magazine i got a while ago that had all changes in 2006 to the rule book.

the only close resemblence i remember looking at is that you MUST wear long sleeves and pants, not shorts.. that's gonna ------- SUCK in the summer. makes me wanna slap on the a/c just to prevent overheating myself

anyone know the rules on helmets? i think it said a helmet is requird if you run like 13.00 or less.. sucks, means i gotta wear a hat when im not racing. whats with all this extra crap

what I think is funny is the NHRA cert cage rule. Lets say you dip under the limit once, under perfect conditions. You wont be allowed back until you have a cage. Lets say you go out and do so. But now your car is a pig from the added weight and you can no longer run under the alloted time <---- :P DOH!!

There was also some talk about a new bar added to either roll bar or roll cage setups, but I didn't read it all the way through. Something about a lower bar between the legs of the main hoop to prevent the car from folding? I don't know. I'll have to look into it.
