newbie question....

ok...now this is the dumbest question i will ever ask in my life......but if you got a turbo kit, do you have to have a bov? my buddy's dad has a tt 300zx(not factory stuff) and it doesnt have a bov....whats up with that?

Re:newbie question....

well actually, when you run low amounts of boost, you don't need a BOV, Grand nationals don't have one, 300zxs don't have em. infact most HMT kids don't even require one.
Bovs are even less importatns on cars equiped with automatic transmissions, because you don't need to take you foot off the gas too shift.

If I was turbo I'd still put on a BOV no matter what..

Oh, that would be sweet. ;D

Kyle has a BOV on his NA civic, hahaha, PSHHH!
I hear someone mention somewhere that certain drag racers use a piece of masking tape over a hole in the charge pipes, after the race is over when they let off the gas, pshhh! hahahaha. thats ghetto.
