Default NEWBIE alert!

I'm new here to HMT. I've lurked here off and on.

I thought maybe I should jsut come out the closet... oh wait, that sounded REALLY bad!

Anyhow, I've got a pseudo-stock 89 CRX Si that's in the works of a serious make over. I'm looking at boosting the stock d16a6 to about 8psi for now, and once I kill it, it's time to swap in a b16 and go super charger. YUMMY!

Anyhow, that's a lil bit on "Sinful" for now. I'm gonna go play in the profile section and see what mischief I can get into. lol.

screw a s/c b16, build it and then turbo that bitch

you will be able to use all the same turbo kit parts except you will need to weld a different flange on the exhaust manifold.

Hey sinful just my opinion but i would stay away frome superchargers unless you are going to road race and you only need low rpm and midrange power.Superchargers max out by the time turbos are winding up and arent as versitile as turbos.Annyhooo thats just my opinion.Welcome and good boosting

I was warned by Jonny_Black (from the resource) that boost is like automobile crack, and if you go with a SC, you've got a lot more work to do to increase the boost. Therefore it regulates your addiction.

I have no self-control, and would probably over boost EVERYTHING! .. lol
