That looks like one of those helicopter mounted gatling guns. Those thing spew out like 10,000 rounds a min.

Here's some more video of it in action http://www.big-boys.com/articles/iraqfootage.html

no. that is fire from an a10 warthog. its got the biggest gun on any aircraft, and it can fire them at an amazing rate. plus the bullets are made from depleated urnium.

it shoots so fast what you're seeing is like only every fifth round. every fifth bullet is a tracer so you can see where you ae shooting

old news, I took a field trip to an AF base back in highschool and they showed us the actual gat used in a10s, it's about 15 feet long, shooting .50 cals or huge ---- like that. They use those things to eat up tanks and heavy armored vehicles.

Re: new weapon used in iraq

.50 cal is the biggest bullet posible before it is deemed inhumane.

i think we should break out the lazer technology. i bet we have it. i wanna see beams of light going straight threw someones heart them looking down at it and then falling down. thats the ---- i wanna see. our forfathers used the same tech hundreds of years ago. by now we should have some crazy ----

I bet there's TONS of ---- that we don't know about. (what whas the US government military research budget agaon?)
I mean, the F117 had it's first flight before I was ------- born. Only reason they showed us that thing is because it;s outdated already.

I'm sure there's weapons we CAN'T use. I'm also pretty sure there's weapons we have used and weren't supposed to. But I think ya'll are missing the point on these uberdeath cannons, they aren't specifiically used to kill individual people or even large groups of people, there used as anti artillery, 1000 rpm is a litle bit overkill for anything smaller than a humvee. ::)

but yeah, tactical nukes, neutron bombs, bullets with the ability to change trajectory; all of this ---- is cool and all BUT we aren't fighting a large scale war, we're fighting a guerilla war. Any sand ------ can pick up a kalishnikov over there, which even though it's "slightly" outdated machinery still has the ability to pierce body armor and still has a decent range & accuracy & firepower, coupled with an enemy that blends with the populace and knows the terrain and your in for a fight.... think vietnam.

7.62x39mm is one of the slowest rifle bullets known to man ::) *semi sarcastic*

won't pierce new body armor from any type of distance.
