New wantd to say hi.
OK My name is Shane. Im new and wanted to let you guys know what im about. I drive a 1990 Honda Civic HB that iv done all the work on. I love this car and its the only car that ill never sell. Its not much to look at but its mine so please dont rag on it.
Heres whats going on, I dont know what to do to my car. I mean spray or turbo? I know this is HMT's so you guys are partial to turbos. But my goal right now is only 250-300 and its alot cheper to spray. I could probly build a cheap junk yard kit for under a 1000 but I can spray for 500 or less. I guess I will just give you guys my specs and see what yall say.
1990 Honda HB

And a GSR trans
If you guys say spray what is safe to un on a stock block B16? and if you say turbo what PSI can you SAFLY run on a Stock B16 Block?
Pics ( dont make fun please)

Re: New wantd to say hi.
Hey just wantd to let you know it looks like you have accidentaly typed the wrong URL in your address bar. the site you were looking for was http://www.honda-tech.com/
PS. everyone knows that the B16 is crazy strong. I would go with nothing less than a 300 shot on that motor you'll run in the 9's for sure.

Re: New wantd to say hi.
don't ask what psi, ask what hp. psi has nothing to do with durability, and the amount of power a turbo makes varys from turbo to turbo. do some more research, i recommend about a months worth before you post again, unless there's **** involved

Re: New wantd to say hi.
He's not that bad econobox :-P He forgot the **** but that can be forgiven. At least he's not posting pictures of some red seats or door panels.
Car isn't that bad, obviously needs some cosmetic work but its no big deal. Just like you said, everyone here will be biased towards boost, I say boost it. That way, when you get tired of your current goals, you can easily upgrade to something more powerful. Your block will be able to handle your goals.

Ok I will try this again, josher has a point.
Dont ever ask to be "Taken easy on" cause that wont happen here. Do post some **** like 90boost said and the best advice I can give you is read read read read. just start with all the FAQ's here and make sure you read the one thats labled "SEARCH NOT WORKING" or something it will show you how to search here to find ----.
and by the way. IMO I would boost before I sprayed. The power is there all the time and doesnt need to be re-filled.
