new to the turboing a NA

I use to have an 04 WRX, got in some trouble and had to pay some big fines so its forsale.

so now Im gettin ready to Turbo... something.. idk yet. Im thinking its going to be a early 90's toyota pickup. I just wanna boost it for the hell of it not really tryin to make alot of power.

I've got on order or have bought so far:
CT26 turbo
2.5'' intercooler piping, couplers, and clamps
Turbo XS bov and flange
Turbo XS mbc
boost guage

Waiting on a buddy to upgrade his FMIS on his srt4 and Im gonna grab that from him
waiting till I get the turbo tomorrow to check it out and see what all I need for oil feed and return lines
and waiting to see about SAFC.. trying to get a decent deal
last but not least, waiting to make sure Im going to be turboing aToyota truck before I order a manifold

sounds like you have actually done some research, and pretty much understand what's gonna be invlolved in doin somethin like that. you've pretty much got everything nailed down. for oil lines, get hooked up from (shameless plug) ---------------------------. i'm not really sure where you would tap for the oil fee though, i'm not much of a yota guy. talk to snafubmx, he should be able to answer some questions about that

the oil presure senders on the top of the head and it looks like a little bell, thats where i taped mine. not sure if your motors like that but my celica is.

you could always put the oil filter in the firewall and tap off of that, and i would look into using megasquirt instead of the safc. may be more expensive but you will have way better tuning possibilities. or you could always use a boost referenced fpr and a msd6btm for the ignition. still be expesive but worth it.
