I ride with a guy that has a nice 636 and I really like it. The 636 seems to be a little bigger bodied of a bike compared to the R6. I was looking at a 636 for $4500 with 11k miles, but for a few hundred more I figured I would go with the lower miles.

Yeah not a bad deal at all, but after seeing the newer r6's its hard to like the older ones more, but the new 636 vs the 05-06, the 05-06 wins, the new one has weird lookin headlights.
