I have been looking for a bike for about a month now on Craig List when I finially came across what I thought was a good deal, I was calling on a 03 GSXR, but the guy sold it and mentioned that he had another bike that he was going to sell but had not put it on CL yet. It's a 2004 Yamaha R6, I bought it with 880 miles, for $4950. Pretty much stock except for an undertail kit and it was lowered with a lowering link, but I got a factory one off eBay for $9 and raised it back up. It does have light scratches on the left side.

I have rode my dads Harleys in the past, but wanted a bike of my own, already had my license.

Thanks, nothing wrong with it besides the scratches on the fairing. Long story short: guy bought bike for g/f, lowered it b/c she was short, she rode it 800 miles, dropped it at a stop sign and refused to ride it again.

Bike looks badass. Low miles, too. I love the tail end of those bikes. Looks awesome IMO. Be safe and watch out for idiots.

I really want a bike, but I have actually seen in person a few people go down from hitting a little gravel in the road. One dude was flying down our road and his tire popped, not flat, literally just shredded. :l He had a nice flight.

you got a good deal i personaly havent rode bikes often but ive ridden both 06 R6 and GSXR600 The r6 was so much easier to menuver than the gixxer prolly cuz the large tank on the gixxer i didint feel comfortable and that bike fucked my back up.

I ride with a guy that has a nice 636 and I really like it. The 636 seems to be a little bigger bodied of a bike compared to the R6. I was looking at a 636 for $4500 with 11k miles, but for a few hundred more I figured I would go with the lower miles.

Yeah not a bad deal at all, but after seeing the newer r6's its hard to like the older ones more, but the new 636 vs the 05-06, the 05-06 wins, the new one has weird lookin headlights.
