How does one diagnose a bad crank pulley? Or did the car physically not come with one? :1

The rod bearings will be the first thing to go.

the belt squeals and you can see the pully flopping around when its running. The rubber damper fell apart on the pully.

Yeah, prelude! Friend had a red 89 si. We blew the HG with nitrous. Put another and ran it a while and he finally wore out a cylinder from the nitrous so he rebuilt it. The rod bearing and main bearing by cylinder 4 was toast. But the car itself was great. But those motors kinda suck compared to.... Every other engine honda made at the time. I've also seen a yellow one with four wheel steering.

If it can't do a peg leg burnout on dry pavement your engines crapped out, my buddy got one for $400 as well and it did burnouts all right for what it is. yours is in better shape than his was too... and his needed a new transmission

I think its a score for 400 bucks and a 200 dollar nitrous kit would make it worthy enough to impress some 17 year old mexican girls
