New REX on the ROad
 

Hey guys/girls,

My name is Jon and I am new to this site and hondas in general. I was flamed for posting and not introducing myself and for that i apologize. Well about my car... I just got a '88 CRX HF witha D15B6 motor and ZC single overhead cam SI head? Well anyways, so far it seems like a pretty fun car to drive. Handles suprisingly well and sips gas. Way different from my '98 Ford Explorer with the 5.0 V8.

Thanks again to those of you who have helped me already. and hopefully we can turn this car into something great.

Do the 8 valve bottom ends have the valve reliefs in the pistons for a 16v head? ??? Could be an issue at some point down the road if that's the case.

Sorry guys dont have a camera and the car is in the shop rite now anyways... Somebody decided that while i was working on New Years that they would smash my passenger window in and break into my car. Ill get some pictures up as soon as i can.

wow, man seems honda's are being targeted really bad these days. some dumbass keeps stealing my gas cap. so i bought one witha lock on it. :P around here though no one's ---- ever gets broken in to unless you got a system. :-*

Ummm...no they don't. :1 I think it was the earlier years that didn't have them.

Yea i've got the locked gas cap going on as well. But the thing is that when they broke in they didnt even take anything. I dont have anything worth taking, so obviously the guy was a moron just breaking in not knowing what he was looking for.
