So i decided to tear apart my car once again to swap out the turbo and get rid of the xspower turbo i had on there...

i decided to swap it out with this

I figured out that i could make a manifold for it, short runners with a sidewinder design to it. run a short pipe straight to the throttle body, and run water injection instead of a intercooler..

I am also either going to have to run with no hood at all, or cut my hood..i think i'm going to cut it out..make it so people get can't see anything but the turbo :)

p.s.. i'm lieing about this...i actually am just swapping the xs power .48/.42 to a .48/.60..swapping the nissan sr20det bov with a 1g bov..and cleaning up some ----...

is that a turbo from a deisel ford?..i know dodge uses holset and ford uses garret

nope its from a chevy, straight from the dealership..

and if anybody from TC cares, the car now hits more than 2psi @ 5 grand.. now its at 5 psi at 3500 ;D and it loves it :6 :y

the car was dyno'd awhile ago, with a shitty tune no fire ring in the wastegate and started spooling at about 4000rpms, redline is 5800...also 4psi..
it dyno'd at 127whp and 138 wtrq....keep in mind pushrod motor, and a 3 spd auto..stock power is 115bhp, so around 80-85whp according to the place that dyno'd the car..the xs power didn't crap out, i actually just changed the compressor on it from a .42 with whatever trim wheel, to a .60 a/r with whatever trim wheel thats in a nissan .63/.60its still slow, very very slow..but its more fun to drive..and doesn't sound like a tractor..the gears and the auto just suck up all the power...

I wanna a ride, wait i am gonna call u in a few! I think that your car is an awesome project, it really just needs more power. Just use NAWZ it seems like everyone is these days, even if they have no other mods at least u have a few :S

why dont you do a 5spd swap or atleast a 4spd you can get a shift thingy for the 4psd that will make it shift hard and you dont have to go into the tranny but overall not bad and i know the 3spd sucks i had a 2.2 sunfire with the 3spd

yep and loose all street driveablility with it at the same time, that is if your refering to a manual valve body
