Alot of the reduction in addiction to hard drugs is because cannabis ceases to be a gateway drug. When there isn't any weed around i normally get bored and resort to cheap speed or the occassional line of charlie.
In Amsterdam, thats never a problem, you actually have to try to find other drugs (which are all readily available at knock down prices), so they get stoned and don't bother.
Its also, i guess partly because there's nothing to rebel against, drugs aren't so taboo. Its not naughty or bad to have a spliff, which i reckon makes up for the majority of teenage drug uptake.
Hillary Clinton will be just like Bill, only significantly less charming and disproportionately more intelligent. And your country seemed to do ok with a Clinton the first time around.
