yea it was at the street races and the hatch was a manual my homie has a daily driver show car dsm that he repoed from his g/f now wife cus she couldn't pay for it and smoked that hatch like it was standing still and his friend has vids of it.

JP i walked a cobra with full exhaust when i was at 6lbs. and they run about 12.6~ stock |

Yep, AOD trannies= teh suck. Although once you swap in the T-5 be prepared for the 2nd gear synchro shuffle.
One point of critisism, why in the world do you have those ugly ass GT taillights on there? The LX taillights look 1,000,000 times better. Pretty sweet though. |

Hahah, man all my brothers and sister are nuts about 5.0's - all t-5's too, reverse goes: u-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-CLUNK! second gear goes: Ahhhhhhh grind, grind, grind..... It doesn't help that everyone and their mom has no clue how to speedshift second in those cars.

the RACE car lol got a new rotor and some brakes in the rear.

no way stock pony rims ftw ... my buddy just swaped on some stock pony rims with nitto drag radials ... not sure what tranny he has but on 14 psi on those tires we were racing a rear mount turbo camaro , he dropped it at around 3500 and sprayed through 1-4 and the tranny sounded find to me .. that's on a 90 fox body gt with i.h.e. and a 85 shot

mostly everybody who owns a mustang out here has those cobra rims they are played out and the stock ponies look nice that's a real sleeper i wouldn't be able to tell that it was boosted on the street if i see it from a distance.

usually by a front mount most cars that are boosted you a big front mount and the ones who are sleepers you can't see them until you hear them or you look closely at the front bumper.

Sweet setup. Anyone know about reliability on the mustang auto's? If they are anyting like any other auto ford made in the early 90's, expect it to stop working somewhere around 100,000 miles.

my chassis has ~160k on it. the trans has about 70k, it was taken out to be "upgraded" its taken tons of abuse at 5-8psi and some people have been running them 9-10psi running 11s and such with them. good amount of power + od = does not mix. but they are not glass by any means. what going to go wrong with them is when you have some power, slipping clutches, busting OD... its not going to pop like a honda trans though |
