i do, the next mani is tigged. i practice almost every day, gonna do up some aluminum charge pipes for my new ls/vtec project, and am going to tig my dp and ----, everything.

You can use stainless filler rod on mild steel. I did on mine.

ya, you can use stainless and mild interchangeable, I used mild wire on my stainless manifold. alright, that might not be a good example, but it can be done.
