I have a 89 mustang with a single holset hx35 turbo that I made myself.
car runs great I drive it everyday.
you can see my outdated website in the link where ever it goes in my profile. Maybe someday soon i will update it a little more.

Brandon, just checked out your site.. Great stuff man! How well does that turbo spool up on your engine? We are doing a similar project on a small block 350, but the turbo is considerably larger, and we are worried about spool times. Whats the A/R on the exhaust side of that turbo?
Great times, and nice work, welcome to the site (mainly honda ricers like myself though)

------' cool! How the hell did you fit that turbo in there? It looks like everything was formed around the engine. Must have been a nitch to install. Very impressive. Thats the first turbo-Stang I have seen here. Welcome aboard.

thanks guys. I am kinda the make and model dont mean ---- kinda guy. you like that car i like this one. thats why everyone dont have the same car.
As for my turbo goes they dont advertise Holset's with a/r. next time i have it off i was going to measure it though to find out. its measured in cm squared. also it has only a small t-3 inlet flange. and 53mm inducer. but yet still supports over 500 hp.
this one is 12 cm sq. as for spool time the holset turbo dont mind spinning a little faster then most turbo's. i can have 7 psi at only 2k rpm if i brake boost and if not it will be full boost around 2800 rpm and pulls all the way to 6k.
here is a little vid of it.

also in the classifieds i have those BOV/by-pass valves for sale.
thanks guys!!

Awesome set up you have!! I jsut love turbos no matter what the car. I am personally going honda only because i want something cheap to turbo. Hopefully i will be helping my freind install a vortech supercharger(centrifugal) in his 91 mustang 5.0 hatch. I am sending him down the path of forced induction and i know he will be hooked!! I have seen a lot of 10 sec mustangs and that is great but all motor doesn't do it for me unless you are running a v12 or 18grand spinning F1 engine.Love your custom setup...Maybe now i have more reason to tell my freind to go turbo , although he got an super deal on the supercharger.
