Dude, I was in the exact same position. All the years defending my lowly VW against the meatheads almost out the window.

The way I'm looking at it is that anything with a turbo that isn't 'supposed' to have a turbo is cool. I'm almost as excited as he is, and I remind him that its still a ford on a regular basis. I'm going to have my work cut out for me keeping up, provided his block doesn't break in half.

what are the specs on the motor? how much power are you trying to hit at how much boost?

it looks like a really well done and thought out project. good work

Wipe some grease on that thing or put some dirty fingerprints on it. That looks very nice. More pics will get you bonus points.
