Re:New Here
Welcome Travis :) thats a sexy EK....

Re:New Here
thank you. i tried to take a very minimalistic approach to its looks. kind of a sleeper look i guess you could say. im not down for the giant wheels and mega body kits. i just like it clean and simple....and relatively quick sometime soon.

Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside
"I like it... I like it alot" Thats from Dumb and Dumber. But seriously, I like it.
|
Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside
You may want to throw out the zdyne idea they only support obd 0 88-91 vehicles.
|
Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside
guess that idea is thrown out. any suggestions? and no, im not doing the vafc or any of the rising rate fpr setups.

Nice ride and welcome aboard. ;) __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside
hondatas are cool and all, but they have the same problem as the ZDYNE's. my car is OBD-II and hondata has only developed products for OBD-I. this sucks. hehe.

Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside
I like that car just the way it is. No more, no less. Looks nice. ;)

Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside
just convert it to obd1, i've never done it but i hear it's not to hard. I believe there is a jumper that goes from existing wiring harnes to jumper to ecu. i could be totally wrong tho. nice hatch man and welcome

You should tell us what your goals are and then we can give you some advice on management.
I don't think that you will need the Del Sol VTEC rad, but it depends what you want to do. |
Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside

Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside

OBD2 - 1 90 buck harness, then go with AEM or Hondata http://www.boomslang.us |
Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside
cool cool. i guess ill be converting my car to OBD 1 then.
so basically what i do (correct me if im wrong) is purchase the conversion harness, plug that into my existing harness, and then plug that into an OBD-I ECU? I guess I ditch the second O2 sensor and just have that ---- welded shut? Now, whats the most compatible OBD-I ECU for a D16Y7 (non VTEC, DX motor)? |
Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside
Why weld the extra O2 hole shut when you can just plug it? M18 1.5 thread pitch plug from local automotive store or a fasterner store like Hi-Strength Bolts will work perfect.

Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside
or just be really cheap and leave the old sensor in there and say ---- it
|
Re:New Here - *pics + turbo setup inside
Nice car man...:( me want one too.
Nice harness...yeah get that. |
