New guy to the world of honda

Hey everybody, i just bought a 85 Honda Civic hatchback. Why would you buy that car of all cars you may ask, it was only $300 and I needed a beater. My main car is a '87 Rx7 TII but with all the mods it only get about 12MPG. I'm used to have a fast car, now I have a car that is slow as ----. From what I can find my honda only has 57hp, I'm used to having about 5x that.

My question I ask of you guys, should I turbo charge my little 1.5L 3bbl honda or just swap out the motor? If I swap the motor is there anything that will fit in there?

im going to be dead honest with you. It would be cheaper to go out and buy a 4g Si or 5g Si then what its going to cost to get that thing in their range of power (which is 108 for 4g and 127 for 5g)

4g = 88 - 91 Honda Civic/CRX
5g = 92 - 92 Honda Civic/Del Sol

you can probably get a 4g Si around $3000US in good condition. I bought my CRX Si for $2000 Can

This thing is a POS, i would love to have a 4g or 5g. My sister has a 91 CRX that we are converting from DPFI to MPFI. What is really sad, is that her DPFI'ed car feels like a beast compared to my honda.

I've been looking into blow-though carb's, I think that would be the best way to go with this car. I mean sure I can put a B series engine in it for around $1500, but thats a lot to spend on a beater. Where as I can get a T25 from one of my Z friends and make an adapter plate for the manifold for much less. I'm not looking for major power here, I just want to be able to go up hills faster than 35mph in second gear.

i hang out with a bunch of ol school hot rodders and i noticed alot of them have draw thru carbs. They say this is the best setup when going for forced induction since there is really no limit for these.
