lol. yea thats me. I love the evo IC, no problems with it what so ever and the stock mounting tabs on it line up with some holes on the bumper support so it goes right on. When i had it running last and on stock turbo running about 18lbs i could thrash on it all nite and the intake side of the piping was always cold as can be.

yeah ive got the thermospacers on my car and the intake manifold stays ice cold all the way to the cylinder head.Im contemplating right now, goin with the FE3 or to just keep my setup now.Im just waiting for winter to pass so i can see what this car runs at the track.

FE is nice, but i like the tq you get with the f2t. Plus the f is built for boost already, the fe isnt.

For a guy who didn't bother to research enough about what was expected of him before making a first post you appear to be doing pretty well.

Sweet car, IMO get injectors bigger than 450cc and get a Megasquirt so you can ditch that FMU and the odd-*** 0-9v flapper door style MAF. Also look into a mild NA grind cam, or just a stock NA cam, should free up the ponies while keeping the awesome torque. No need to go $$$ on headwork and valvetrain, just try to free up some mid to top end flow with a better bumpstick.

headwork is the best thing you can do for those motors, they head sucks stock.

i should have mentioned im not running the fmu at the moment.I took it off because honestly i hate the damn things.I dont like the idea that i cant part throttle boost without leaning out.Yah the stock vaf is a pile of ---- compared to a normal maf.As for the cam, the turbo and n/a cams are exactly the same. The whole head between the n/a and turbo models are the exact same castings and internals.I also forgot to mention, the guy i bought it from said it had some mild headwork but i didnt mention it because i dont have any type of proof.I havent tore into it enough to check it out. They do offer a few aftermarket regrinds but there isnt enough aftermarket for the valvetrain.I was looking at some regrind specs that basically equal out to a HKS 272 cam for the dsm guys.Ive seen over 400whp made from a stock cam, stock valvetrain, but im still open to making horsepower with less strain on the engine.I could just go the easy route, turn my car back to stock, run a 10psi out of the stock turbo and throw a 100 wet shot at it and run consistant 12.50s.There is also a guy that had a mild turbo upgrade, lsd, and slicks and ran a 12.8 with his car.Theres so many diff ways to about modding these cars, it all comes down to how much you want to spend and how much work you want to do.Honestly, i probably would have never spent the money the previous owner did on all the parts he had in this thing.Ive got some of the stuff sitting around waiting to be put up for sale because ill never use it.Thanks guys for the compliments and advice
