Its just that much better when a 15 year old, $3k shitbox car whoop's the hell out of their $45k glorified shitbox

Re: The New EVO IX

Haha i knew a guy who has an evo slightly modded and he got his ass handed to him by an E46 M3 pretty good, kinda like the M3 i smoked a few times with my stock engined 135000 mile accord. I thought that was pretty weak for a car that everybody thinks is the fastest thing around

Edit: a $3k car smoking a $45k car makes the beating all that more severe, adds insult to injury. Plus not to mention the fun from the look on the $45k's car owners face... it invariably turns from surprise/amazement to horror like WTF just happend lol

Re: The New EVO IX

Whats the point of even arguing over this ----, it's all just pressed out metal with some wheels and an engine, why get bent over the specifics and associate yourself with brand names, what car will make you gay if you drive it and make you look like you have bad taste or whatever the ---- your concerned about affecting whatever status you perceive to have. It's just bullshit and it doesn't matter.

When you drive for the enjoyment of driving, you drive what you want to drive because thats what you enjoy. Yyou can throw specifications, time trials, internet speculation, brand loyalty, nationalism and all this other horse ---- around but it doesn't really matter, it's just a car.

Evo's are for ricers who are hypocrits.

"nice ------ ricer wing, bodykit and widemouth"

"its stock dumbass thats how they come"

"oh my bad I thought it was a civic with a black widow kit whoops"

Re: The New EVO IX

i love when people dog exotic cars as wastes of money because a modded out civic could beat them, btu an exotic will get you -----. the evo is so ------- expensive and can be beaten by a lot of cars for 1/8th the cost, but there is no benefit to the ------- price tag, you really do look like a ricer in the evo hahaha.

it looks like the next one is going the way of the high end sports sedan with the x concept, im fine with that. 45k for an evo? when you can get a brand new g35 sport RWD for 39k, are people out of their minds?

i think VW styling is much better than that of the evo, i don't care for some of the flash on the mk5 gti, but half way between that and the regular rabit is the way i would have mine.
