hey i have a question about these coilovers, maybe you could help me out:
in the front struts, do you have the ability to shorten the unit very much? how far does it look like you could shorten the strut before you run out of threads or the top perch for the springs spins off the top of the coilover?
and in the rear, do you have the ability to lengthen the strut very much longer than stock? maybe 1.5 inches would be plenty....
the reason I ask is because I am trying to research putting civic coilovers on my 86 accord (which currently has the koni/groundcontrol coilover setup - too soft etc). at this point we know the rear struts bolt in, but are quite a bit shorter than stock accords, so the highest you can raise the car without running out of shock travel is is about a 3" drop, which is pretty significant on those cars.
on the front we have had to modify the lower spring perch to effectivly relocate it further up on the strut body. this gets us excellent dampening out of the strut, but in order to do that the bottom of it sticks out the bottom of the suspension fork, and it rubs on the axle in a significantly lower car. (note: axles are harder than KYB AGX struts).
if you could provide me with info about how flexable the threaded lower parts of these coilovers are, i would really really appreciate it!

The front dosent have as much adjustment as the rears, but still enough to make a noticable difference.
the rears have about 4" adjustment... the fronts id say 2-3"
