Umm.. The reason its called an HRSS454 is because they ARE releasing the car.. but only about 40 of them. And it will not carry the name "Chevelle", because Chevy is not producing it.

Those headlights remind me of an integra..

Anyway I think it'd be great if they brought back some of the old cars...but this new age type styling tends to take the car away from what it origionally was. It looks like they're all joining the 4 banger craze with the new Chevy Cobalt and the Neon SRT/4 that's been out for awhile.

I'm sure we'll see Pontiac's bastardization of the Cobalt soon enough.

Jackass, they're not re-releasing it. Hot Rod made up this concept and begged Chevy to make it, and they said they will not revamp the chevelle.
actually there was alot of hype about GM rebadgeing the Holden Monaro CV8 and calling it a chevelle for the 2005 production year, but it never went through

You ----, do you read? I never said they built it. HRSS is building it. Hot Rod made all the sketches, all the measurements, all the specs.

That wasn't going to be the chevelle. It was just another concept car. As you said, all it is is a rebadged holden.

the GTO is a rebadged holden, so it was very possible that this would have went into preduction
