Dr. Boost's recent post inspired me to reach out and help those in need. I'm sure there are lots of other folks here with some good input. Personally I am a software tech for a major computer company.

Use firefox for your **** browsing...will cut down on a lot of the ---- (www.getfirefox.com)

For torrents, i prefer azureus

For antispyware, Adaware because it doesnt do much damage when taking care of ----. As a later resort i use spybot search and destroy, however i have had issues with it deleting files it shouldnt

For dvds, i use media player classic. ultra light weight and works really well

Cant really think of much else..but will help answer questions as needed
