Need Your Thoughts on Noise Polluton???
Alot of us drives modify cars with low to loud exhaust system. Now, my question is why aren't harley being pull over for their loud exhaust.....don't give me wrong, I like em too, but they're annoying loud as hell.....
It just seems like anything that's not domestic are being harrass........and it's unfair
just putting my frustration on writing

because cop hate ricers too 
and most loud cars are ricers they are slow and just making noise i mean they dont give lift trucks with loud *** exhaust too much problems. i think its just everytime a cop hears a riced out exhaust its some kid trying to be a dumb *** so their natural assumption now is that all riced out exhaust sounds are rice boys that need to be pulled over before they hurt themselves.
I dont have a muffler on my accord at all and they dont give me a problem and its loud as hell i bet if it sounded like one of those gay *** rice exhaust they would. i also use to run a flowmaster 30 series on the car like a retard
and it was twice as loud than it was with no muffler and i still got no problem then either but i bet if i put a pretty shiny chrome exhaust on there that was riced out and a cop pulled up behind me i would get pulled over

as annoying and loud as hell harleys are the can get busted. the ******* went and got a copyright/patent on it and it "has to be annoying" to make the sound correct. I absolutely hate it. i dont mind the bikes but i dont want to go def if im not driving the ******.

my thoughts? well i have a 3inch exhaust on my car with no muffler or cat, sounds great and you might not even notice me when i pass. on the other hand i heard another CRX with a NA B18A with a 4-1 header and 3inch and well you would hear the ------ car about half a mile away.
i dont like cars that sound ricey, but honsetly if its not louder than a harley it should be legal...

Harleys, Raised trucks, and old muscle cars are looked at as "Good ol' boys" cause they are.
Imports with loud *** exhausts are looked at as "little urban ******** punks" cause they are.
Cops are for the most part "Good ol' boys"
I'd give em' tickets too, brother.

Salt Lake City has a "no altered muffling system" ordinance which is completely retarded. It is supposed to prevent you from having anything except a totally stock exhaust system, whether it be loud, quiet, domestic, foreign, or a bike. I think they thought it was a great idea at first, but not only is it impossible to enforce completely, but it's just totally asenine!! I haven't heard much about it lately, but I think it was just away to crack down on all these stupid *** welded on mufflers on otherwise stock neons. And I'm all for that!!!

where is ferio_god? he can hand down a ruleing on the harley thing, he works at a dealer i believe...
i would be handing out tickets too if i had a badge/gun/ticket book. of course the harley's, V8's, and ricers alike would get tickets. i have a 3inch, its quite, everyone else has the same opertunity to do the same and still get good performance (although i do think those ricer *** civics and neons get any more hp from there ----) and have there ---- be quite too...

yes but you need to do the proportions out:
v8's make x amount of noise for x amount of power.
hondas maxe x amount of noise squared for 1/4 the amount of power...
You do the math!
Harleys, i agree, are loud as ---- and never get bothered. Those things will shake windows... i dont get it?
