4g63power 07-26-2009 11:41 AM

hell of a deal if its good.

ThedurtyDC2 07-26-2009 08:14 PM

Great deal, I'd say definitely scoop that up, and replace what you don't want or like. It's a good foundation to buy, sell and trade parts, so you have the kit you really want. Is it a full Turbonetics kit, with the manifold, Raptor bov, and Evoultion wastegate?

arok22 07-26-2009 08:43 PM

Turbonetic turbos are pretty expensive. If the turbo is good... then that whole kit is a good buy. Go price turbonetics turbos... you will see they are not cheap. I'd buy it.

SoleKing 07-26-2009 10:34 PM

ill definitely get it thanks guys

vodkas 07-27-2009 08:10 AM

I would buy it. Let me know if you dont buy so I can buy it. :)

SoleKing 07-27-2009 07:22 PM

its gonna come with mani, turbo, downpipe, intercooler piping, front mount intercooler, bov, wastegate, oil feed line, oil return, but he said he'll hook me up wit new 440dsm injectors for another hundred and chip and get a turbo base map for my ecu for another hundred which rings up the total of 900$ .... should i buy his injectors and chip it from him??

SoleKing 07-27-2009 07:23 PM

o yea and its four months old

zero937 07-27-2009 09:08 PM

That's way too much for injectors, and way too much for a basemap.. I got a set of DSM 450cc injectors for $30, the most I've seen a set sell for was about $50-$75 bucks.. Also the basemap can be ordered from Xenocron tuning for $25!! And if your ecm isn't chipped, get the chipping kit from Moates.net for $15 and take care of it... If you're not comfortable desoldering and such, I'm sure you can find someone to do it for next to nothing.

cool thanks!, really helpful

Dan. 07-28-2009 04:11 PM

You're welcome, anytime.

If you were closer, I'd offer to chip the ECM for $20... It only takes about 30 minutes depending on how easy the solder comes out of the board, but I see your in colorado so there goes that idea

SoleKing 07-28-2009 07:44 PM

ha yea that option is out the window, wat u think about runnin hondata s300

Dan. 07-28-2009 09:06 PM

That's always gonna be a more capable system than running crome, but it is much more expensive... There's plenty of guys out there running crome, and I will be tuning my setup with it myself. If you've got the money go Hondata, I know I would. The only downside is finding a good tuner who won't charge you a ridiculous amount for tuning with s300... I'll be fine with crome free.

SoleKing 07-28-2009 09:53 PM

theres a shop down here thats charging 500 or somethin like that for the s300. how much are u payin for crome

Dan. 07-29-2009 07:05 AM

Well I'm a cheapskate... I'll be using crome free.

SoleKing 07-29-2009 01:08 PM

it does the work??.... i really dont know a dam thing a bout crome

Dan. 07-29-2009 03:34 PM

No sir, you have to do all the tuning yourself.. If you're not comfortable doing that, you can find tuners that tune on crome just about everywhere.. If you have the money I'd say just go with hondata and let that shop take care of all the work

SoleKing 07-29-2009 03:50 PM

o ok gotcha thanks alot

Dan. 07-29-2009 04:03 PM

no problem :D and if that's too expensive, ask around your area. There's bound to be an experienced tuner who uses crome.

SoleKing 07-30-2009 01:03 PM

word, u were alot of and saved me money thanks again

Dan. 07-30-2009 03:58 PM

no problem dude, be sure to post up pics of the kit when you get it

SoleKing 07-30-2009 08:33 PM

no doubt

1pkr1 08-03-2009 01:20 AM

cleve 08-05-2009 03:06 AM
