i Have a blackjack, its got windows mobile on it. Do you mean in Infared Port? Like for beaming? I can beam images and texts and ---- like that, but i have never seen anything that would control a tv within my phone.

Yeah i did that once, stole a friends adapter for all the systems and it let me play on channel 3, but he needed it back. So now im kinda screwed. Also, i just hooked up my wireless router in my room, and its got the cable line going into it. I had it hooked up in the living room but i guess the splitter wouldn't work with it being hooked up to the modem and the tv so it would recieve signal but not send it. Can i get away with using my cable and my router off of one line in my room? A friend suggested already that i should hook it up in a room that has cable but nobody uses it, except that we use the cable in every room except the one with all the snakes. And that is way out in the garage and i don't know how well i would be able to pick up signal in my room all the way on the other side of the house.

yea you can split it off line just use a 2 way......it is ethier split in the house or in the house box....nothing fancy...the only way that it will not work is if your cables in your house are amped....then it can't be on a amped line.......or if you have say a 8 way in your house box and that will rob 11db right off the bat and then to throw a two way on top of that with a 3.5 db drop.....now your looking at 14.5 db drop before your modem and that is no good....most drops coming to the house that are outstanding as far s signal goes are normally around +15 at least that is how it is here in pa and comtrash system....when in doubt give it a try worst thing that will happen is the modem will not lock up

Yeah it worked. I have the Cable running out of the wall, into a splitter. One side runs to my girls room, the other goes to another splitter. Then the splitter goes one side to the modem, the other to the tv. So now we both have cable and internet still. I only have like two or three bars of signal on my lap top but it works so im happy.
