need some opinions for the 15th time.......
 

alright, im going to pick up the talon saturday, and they guy gave me a choice....16g w/ some shaft play, t25 with some shaft play, or a td04(13g, i think) thats almost brand new.....which should i go with....im leaning to the td04 just because it still have some good life left in it.....even though its crappy and i think smaller thna a t25?

nope....actually the 16g came off of his mirage...the car had a t25 on it....it has a newly rebuilt(new internals and everythig, w/ receipts to prove it)6bolt cyclone 4g63t in it w/ 3 in exhaust and new(again all papers to prove)xfer case and axles.....swap has less than 200miles on it(again all the papers ive seen back this up), AWD of course, for $3100, but im gonna offer about 2900 or so because of the turbo situation.....

16g.. and tell him you'll give him the $3100 if it has a good turbo :P

A turbo with "Horrid shaft" play, has probably had part of the wheel removed from hitting the housing, but If you want to go real fast thats the biggest turbo of the three but it'll cost$$$ to get it rebuilt

don't waste your time with those smaller turbos, get a 60 trim t3.

get the working turbo to get moving. you can upgrade later on and sell it. even a small turbo will produce boost and you'll have fun.

yea as soon as i sell my civic im gonna pay off a loan and dump the rest of the money into this project, probably gonna upgrade the turbo/fuel/and put a fmic on it, thats about what ill have enough left to do

Yeah dude, get the one without shaftplay and sell it to get a decent one. Or use onna the crappy ones to beat the ---- outta someone and steal a decent turbo

i was thinking about it, but backed outta the trade(told the guy hed have to add some more cash to the deal, which pissed him off...then found this deal....and some guy from atlanta offered me what i wanted for the bike, so hes coming to get it saturday morning...and ive been wanting a 1g dsm for a while, this is just too good to pass up....so im leaving here as soon as i get the $$ from him and going to p/u the talon, and taking that biotch to the track sunday for the 3s/ga dsm shootout...so ill know sunday afternoon was it all worth it or not...

had a guy offer me a 94gt covertible mustang for car and another guy offer me a 93 teg type r yellow, i piece headlights, blah blah jdm blah, and a 934dr civic w/ ls swap both for my car....
