audioslave, rage against the machine, sublime, three days grace, nonpoint, steathmodes songs, nine inch nails, seether, billy talent, offspring

those are some of the bands i usually burn on a mp3 disk, they all have several cds so you can switch a cd each time you re-burn new songs. everyones got somewhat of different tastes though

It's the perfect time of year to watch Indiana Jones movies.

Don't forget your old school rock, either, because if you get all music you know and like you're going to find out on a long trip that everything starts sounding the same and doesn't interest you. Great time to get some CCR, Steppenwolf, oldschool pre-'85 country, etc, and see if you have an affinity for it. Don't worry if you think you're gonna hate it, you'll be right 80% of the time, but give it a listen through once.
