Ok, so I formated my computer, I installed messenger and then updated to MSN 7 (beta) the one I used to use. it tells me that a newer version is available and that I have to upgrade it, so after I do it, everything is fine, untill I go to send someone an IM, when I double click on their name, nothing happens, I have to right click, then choose send instante msg tab, and then the chat window pops up.

This has been pissing me off, and I dont know how to fix it, I looked in the options and didnt find ----.

 

try uninstalling it, and reinstalling it, then don't do the update thing and see if it lets you double click.

I long for the days of messenger 4.6

 

I have done the reinstalling, it wont let me not update it, I dont have a choice.
