Re: Need an Opinion on Lower springs
Buy a chopsaw. They're cheaper and you get a new tool with your lowered car. O0

Re: Need an Opinion on Lower springs
Why are you lowering your car?

Re: Need an Opinion on Lower springs
Why not i have 17s on it and it just appears to high off the ground... It needs to be lowered to get the nice slick look to it

17's are two big for a civic unless you like cock in your ass then there perfect for you. suspension teqnuiqes(sp) springs are very good for the money.
footnotes get smaller wheels, stop being gay, buy some springs |
Re: Need an Opinion on Lower springs

Re: Need an Opinion on Lower springs
take out a home loan and go with the Tein ss, at least it will be done right the first time!
|
Re: Need an Opinion on Lower springs
sell the 17's, use the $$ to get steelies and struts/springs and your good.
I will sell you my tokikos and RS*R's for $600- |
Re: Need an Opinion on Lower springs
Or go with the tokico kit that includes the springs and shocks for a reasonable price. On the accord I have goldline 2.25inch lowering springs with kybgr2 shocks and love the ride its not too stiff but not too soft either.

Re: Need an Opinion on Lower springs
As long as you get a brand name spring it will feel good with a good set of shocks. Factory shocks will blow in a few months, maybe sooner.
Cheap springs. no name springs, will usually be softer and won't hold the car right, but they do the job, if you only care about lowering for looks. Cheap Coilovers are ----, the ride bounces like a mofo, even with decent shocks. I'm not a coilover fan unless........... ......................unless you get a complete set of coilover/strut combo like the Teins. But you are talking major money there. Just go to ebay and get you a set of Tein/Eibach/H&R/Neuspeed springs with at least some KYB GR2 shocks, non adjustable but stiffer than stock, and you'll be happy. I had a set of Dropzone springs with GR2's in my 88 hatch and love it. about $350 I had ebay coilovers and KYB AGX's in my 97 Coupe, it still bounced a little to much. about $450 I have H&R with stock shocks in the WRX and it feels awesome. Only $80, I love ebay.... I'm looking for a set of springs for a 90-93 Integra. I'll probably go with Tein. |
