ok i have a 96 civic with the stock d16y7 and want to convert it to obd1. so i need to go pull a 2plug iacv out the junkyard to replace my 3 plug iacv?

right, i believe all obd1 iacv's were 2p. i have one laying around, but i don't have the plug harness for it

i'm 101.5% sure you need a 2p iacv, so if you don't have one, yes you need one. i'm only 98% sure that all obd1 iacv's were 2p though

my IACV looks like this do they make this type in OBD1?

no, not the 3p, you HAVE TO CONVERT TO A 2P IACV WHEN SWAPPING TO OBD1. i'll give you one for 10 bucks shipped.

how do i convert the mounting is totally different. figure it out and u got ur self a deal.

i just noticed it's for a y7, i believe you have to use the y8 im :P
