Need a new Daily

So the 02 civic coupe and its blazing 115hp got boring, quick. So my options are K series ftw, which isnt the most cost effective swap ever. Hmt the d17 which is still the most expensive engine out on the market to build the internals and the original intake mani cracks at 12psi so a d16a6 mani has to be modded in order to prevent gayness.

Or ditch the civic and go with something more baller status considering im still in high school, either an ep3 si which sorta have a look of their own, or a rsx type s that is reliable to get me to school and work.

And last option would be to buy an older car( eg, ek) and take the risk of my ---- getting jacked by every gangster wannabe in the puget sound area.

Everything i have ever seen with a rotary has had issues with burning coolant off like a mother, housing leakage and issues with intake mani gaskets. The deff are a nice car and are tits when you feel that boost hit, but just not enough of them were maintained well enough to pick one up for less then 5 in great shape.

Buy a sentra and swap out to a sr20ve neo vvl. If you think the cross over is loud on a b16 you have not herd nothing. Plus you almost never see a sentra stolen.

sorry to say it but those years (01-04?) where pretty worthless civics. ---- they started going down hill after 95. 96-00 were nice but 88-95 were the best i think. not a fan much of any new honda besides the s2k and some acuras.

I say get an old school F body Trans Am, drop in a 427, and go smokey and the bandit style with it. Don't forget to grow the mustache and commence balding for the ultimate Burt Reynolds effect. Unfortunately as skinnye said, probably won't help the vagina chase.

omni's, chargers, and shadows are a better choice due to the daytona being super heavy. I <3 my csx its freaking pimp, I still want a turbo3 car though I'd love to have a spirit rt

Re: Need a new Daily

yes they do infact they have the same drivetrain, the daytonas are fron wheel drive. I'm on my second turbo'd shadow from teh factory my current one has a turbo 2 engine in it. The omni glhs came turbo charged as well, if you love these cars so much do some more research and check out www.thedodgegarge.com www.turbododge.com www.------------.com The daytonas over the years came with 3 different engines the turbo 1 with the early log manifold and later turbo 2 style 1 peice intake manifold, the turbo 2 and the turbo 3 in the rt cars. I like turbo dodges alot. You also listed the hp specs for the super rare daytona rt there were only about 700 ever produced and they were'nt rwd either. heres a pic of my shelby csx it came stock with 175 hp and 175 ft lbs. of trq.

the turbo is on the back side of the engine and its factory intercooled

here is an underhood shot of a daytona, notice fwd and same engine as my lame shadow

Sorry I had a brain fart. I was thinking Daytona's were RWD when in fact when I looked it up I saw Mopar made a RWD kit for them, but they came FWD... my bad.
