so the other day i tried logging into my laptop and it says that my pw is not correct, now i've been using the same pw for years..how can i unlock it now? and no it is not stolen...

Boot into safe mode.

What OS?

You can also boot into dos and delete the *.pwl files, but I haven't done that since win98 so not sure if it still works.

There is also free software you can find to retrieve, delete, or change the password.

IS your capslock/numlock on? :P

im running vista premium home edition...stupid question but can someone hack and change the pw, not too computer savy...thnx

Burn the ISO, put it in the disc drive, restart and boot from disc.
