peice of ---- was working ok 2 days ago... >:D anyone have some ideas? besides a new computer, i will start that search right now...

if you have two nic cards in the back, it wont work. one card has to be removed. lan hookups are never more than one on a motherboard. so if it has two, remove the other. the other should be a card. remove that.

Or disable 1 of the network cards in device Manager or the BIOS.

Open up a Dos Prompt within windows and type.

ipconfig /renew

THis will get u a new ip address from the router ;)

Btw i have 2 network cards in my pc, never had a problem so far...

rip the network card out from device manager,
uninstall the drivers ..... for the netowrk card..
reboot and then reinstall drivers..

before u do that, disable any other network connections,
