need advice/ help

I've already spent $3000 on upgrades for my car since I've been in Iraq, not to mention all the other incomplete suff I did like rebuilding the engine before I left, I promised my wife I would stop spending all this money on car parts, but I'm addicted, I want to get a stage 2/3 act clutch kit to go with the lsd swap, but I dont want to spend too much more, would it make any sense just to change the clutch disc and use my oem pressure plate? or would that defeat the pupose of a clutch upgrade? also I still havent though about upgrading my engine management yet, because I now live in Germany and there are no tuning shops, so I would I like to keep it simple, so the Vafc hack plus 4.1 fmu stays, yeah I know! but never had a problem with it, next I want an oil cooler kit. I thought about uberdata/hondata, but it would not do me any good without a tuner, but I drift off the subject, will a just changing my clutch disc be any good?I'm getting out the army in 2 years I need to save money, thank you for your help... maybe some sugestions on engine management or maybe a chip that will go good with the hack, I bought a laptop, but still no access to a wideband or dyno...

yo dude... WTF? Is mods like crack for u?

If you can afford it go right the ---- ahead, I wish I had a fat bank roll to mod the ---- outta my car

And as for ur girlfriend, if money isnt an issue, tell her that if she wants your relationship to continue.. to just keep her legs open and her mouth shut.

ha ha.. he said wife, so things needs to change.

What is the car in question here?

You need to explain to her that you're going to die from gulf war syndrome soon and that the money you spend on your car shouldn't much matter.

Damn... I say hold off, save your money - budget what you're going to spend on it. When you get back to the states, do the work. No sense in paying outrageous money on it when you can spend the same money (or less) in the USA.

the thing is I now live in Germany, other that the expense its fun here, me and my wife decided to live here, since she is German, and I'm Jamaican it wouldn't be much of a change for us...

aint nothing wrong with ssautochrome manifold, but is customer service, is manifolds are fine, I think people are just scared of them because its on ebay, all tubular stainless manifold cracks after a while.

Re:need advice/ help

You will find many people on here that say the ss-autocrap manifold are pieces of ---- and fall right apart. Granted midget boy knows nothing.

You're jamaican, i'm jamaican too!

Well not really, but sometimes I like to think that I am.

lol...Just get a stage 3 clutch...I don't think you're going to be making 350 hp with that setup though. Wrong engine management.

Re:need advice/ help

there are always room for upgrades, I bought a laptop, but since I modified my dash to install the vafc I dont want to get rid of it, so I was trying to find out if uberdata will work with vafc, but no one ever reply to it in the engine management section, so I just let it hang...but I think 350 is possible...

Re:need advice/ help

Re:need advice/ help

there's a post somewhere in the general discussion forum where some guy (Mike) was askin what ppl thought about the clutches he sold them. Also there's a sticky in classifieds (forsale) with his clutches. I hear they are really good for a decent price! check it out.

and you should get a pressure plate as they increase the clamping force. you could have the best friction material in the world but if you dont have enough clampin force to keep it on the flywheel it wont do any good.
