Just to let you know knock sensor is found in the p72,p61,p30 ecu's dohc vtec and is a feature found in crome. I know everyone wants to do converted p06/p28's since were cheap but yes the ability to run a knock sensor is there just have to spend the little extra on the stock obd1 dohc vtec ecu's but in the long run ya its worth it.

Yup all dohc vtec motors have them in the block. It is i believe a 24 mm nut/1 wire sensor. The ls block on the other hand does not have a stock location for one. Also the d16y8 motors also have a knock sensor
