I'm about 30 minutes north of NYC, are there any decent junkyards in the area? I had a job lined up for this break but I found out they don't need me, but I still get a check so I figured it's prime time for a little junkyard hopping. Plus, it's supposed to be above zero for a while this week.

Anyways, any decent import junkyards without rabid hounds or shady black people wandering around? Only one I found was 2+ hours away, way the ---- upstate in the boondocks. Only place that had any parts for my car (92 DA Teggy).

The one's in the boonies are the best if they do have any honda/acura parts cause usually all the rednecks that live around there only drive fords, dodges, or chevys

 

pick a part is really the only place to find good deals. I know I have found my share. Look in your local yellow pages or surrounding counties

 

there is a good one in Hazleton PA, there are a bunch in Middlesex county in jersey. one good one that I know of in Pine Brook new jersey. thats about all I know.

oh yeah, theres a HUGE junkyard district by Shae Stadium in queens. except, not everyone speaks english, lots of people from the islands there.

 

Word on that nasty Shea buisness. I got the addy for the one in pinebrook, gonna head down there with a buddy and see what I can rip off.
