I don't understand where all the drama started here? I fully understand Chris's position on this matter. If it were me I would feel the exact same way. If the car falls off the lift or someone gets hurt, Chris takes the liability. Why bother putting yourself in that postion. His place is a business not a back yard garage to ---- around in.

I'm sure he understands the position of the guys who would have to drive. My position to clear it up is. I don't know this kid. Never met him and really could care less if his car gets done or not. My own car needs plenty of work I don't have time to do. I think pretty much everyone is done working for free when we all have side work and the last guys we installed a turbo for fell off the face of the earth. I would have come out to hang and B.S. with everyone though. As far as I know the NE pinks thing is falling apart at a rapid rate. I personally have lost interest due to the fact I am so busy with work and family. There isn't even a car techincally.

Its cool for everyone to get together and bullshit, BBQ, and get some work done. This has turned into a dramatic episode like always. Ichi I hope your install goes well.

Josh, you're a toolbag. I never once said I distrusted YOU or any of the other guys I KNOW! If it was you, Jordan, Dave, Dan, Pat, and only people I know...then this might be a different story. This is a public event and, public events invite all sorts of people who I dont know...and most certainly cant trust (especially in the state I live in).

No, you have to make it personal...its always about you, you, you. But then you had to make it personal to ME, judging me because of what I am thinking (who I trust or dont) and what I had to go through. Sure you have had ---- stolen...but that was from someone who you probably didnt even really know. This is like a close personal friend or a family member that stole from me, it is completely different.

guys, please, everyone chill... this is not ht or some ----, you guys all know each other, and I dont think even hotrex would be too comfortable with some red eyed newakr thugs messing around on his stuff. don't make this ---- personal, this was a total non issue, and i hope the other ne meet goes well and all, but you guys dont have to ------- compete. This ---- is silly, just relax. If you can come down and help my pathetic ass out, and get chris's back, thats awesome. If not, thats cool too. At this point I do not know hat is happening; everything that is done is on Chris, therefore he gets to make any and all decisions relating to this. Hopefully I can talk to him today, people stop getting pissed at each other this is some serious middle school girl ---- in this thread. ::)

Cliff notes:

Chris got jacked by someone he trusted, and now doesn't want to play HMT house at his shop. For a public meet at his shop, nobody is going in the garage. Effectively killing the meet altogether, which is probably the best outcome for him at this time anyway, and probably the goal of "nobody is going in the garage".

Hotrex gets mad and decided Chris isn't good enough to tune his car anymore. lol

Hotrex claims to be opening a shop in 2 months, and Stealthmode has $100 giving him 6 months to do it, another $100 that it's the worst idea for his backyard manifold "business", and $500 saying IF hotrex ever did get a shop, he would be able to understand how Chris could feel this way about his self made place of business vs. an-drywalled garage belonging to his mom.

And then I have $2000 saying Hotrex+Shop+Manifolds= goes under in 3 months. :S
