Turbo KA Idle Question
Ok, I have a 95 S14 with the factory KA motor, and its running a turbo setup with larger injectors, larger fuel pump and a handful of other goodies, and I'm using an Apexi S-AFC II Fuel Controler for fuel management. My question is this, After ripping on the car, if the RPM's are 5000 or above and I clutch in, the RPMs fall down to 500 then the car tries to pick itself back up but doesnt and just dies. Even if I am not at full throttle then clutch in when the cars running 5000+ rpms, the rpms fall down but dont pick themselves back up to idle, and the car dies. The lower the RPMs and i clutch in, the less the problem. So i was wondering what do I need to do to prevent this, just raise the idleing speed a little? increase fuel somewhere? Let me know what you think, and how to do it. Oh, and If the RPMS are free falling from 5000+ but I blip the throttle around 2000-1000, the motor will find idle fine, its just the long fall from the higher rpm range thats killing it.

If yours is adjustable, try tightening it a lot for now.
Another "in the meantime" when you know you're about to let off the throttle completely, do so very slowly and give the MAF time to figure out whats going on.
