n00b loser here
Hi all, Been lurking for awhile, learned a lot, suppose it's time to take some heat and make my noob post. Current, and first, turbo project: S2000 (ap1). Picked up a greddy turbo kit from a clueless guy that wasn't goint to use it. I use my car on street and road courses (Gingerman, Road Atlanta, Road America, Watkins Glen) in HPDE or TT type stuff. Nothing serious, but I thought the turbo would be nice for actually being able to accellerate up the front straight at Road America. NA, I can do pretty well 'cept for the hills. So, payed the kid for the kinda shitty turbo kit and went to work. It's a T518Z setup, medium size intercooler with an emanage setup. People pan that, but it seems okay- since there's no real honda ecu option for the s2k. My changes to kit: bung on downpipe, flange for cdm blow off, massive oil cooler and thermostat, wideband, hacked harness for o2 and boost log. Just wanted something that adds a bit of power, low pressure/reliable. Pics http://www.hack.net/sss/DSCF0285.jpg http://www.hack.net/sss/DSCF0277.jpg shitty manifold that's gonna bust: http://www.hack.net/sss/DSCF0115.jpg My welding (learning): http://www.hack.net/sss/DSCF0126.jpg http://www.hack.net/sss/DSCF0131.jpg Pr0n (trying to keep it high quality) http://www.hack.net/sss/p1.jpg http://www.hack.net/sss/p2.jpg http://www.hack.net/sss/p3.jpg And a vid (bit of a tease, would like to punch a chick like this in the throat) http://www.wimp.com/hotgirlfriend/ Lemme have it. |
Re: n00b loser here
The first girl looks like she is at a lake local too me except we don't have hotties like that at home. Do you actually own an S800?

Re: n00b loser here
i would feel comfortable filling girl #2 with some type of dip and eating off her vagtastic area.

Re: n00b loser here
Good nOOb post. That manifold looks ten times better than alot of stuff we have proven to work here.
Emanage? Whats wrong with AEM FIC? Noob of the year if he actually has an s800>>> :P |

Nice setup

Re: n00b loser here
Your car would be faster if you put 13 cans of flat black in your engine bay.

Re: n00b loser here
Hell yeah, looks good. There's a S2000 setup in the fab section right now. The guy fabbed up a sweetass manifold...you might wanna holla at him if you're really unhappy with yours. Is there a reason that most of the boosted S2k's I have seen have the oil filter relocated up in the top of the engine bay??

Re: n00b loser here
Good luck with the kit. The biggest drawback you're going to have is the V.E. of the F20C. My AP1 choaked bad at vtec, and the lack of flow raises the cylinder temps pretty high. My exhaust valves where usually white along with the turbine. The glowing manifold does wonders on exhaust studs too. A 70mm exhaust will help a bit with the bog at vtec. DO NOT try to run too free flowing of an exhaust unless you port the Internal wg, or pull a crap load of timing. The turbo is so small that you will spike quick. You should also be very suspect of the harness and emu. My emu wasn't set for vtec out of the box, and honestly never really instilled confidence in me. Don't set the temp units to F either in the manager, as it will break the auto AFR function, and various other things. That manifold is the first series manifold that greddy will replace for free with a cast if it pops. As far as management, kpro is your best option for emissions legal management if you're not going piggyback, or AEM. blah..blah..

Re: n00b loser here
Why isn't it posible to run an F20 with an OBD1 ecu yet?
That should be your HMT project or something. |

I've got a Berk HFC and the stock exhaust. Kpro would be dope but it'll cost more than the kit did, since I'm AP1. :(

Emanage? Whats wrong with AEM FIC? Noob of the year if he actually has an s800>>> :P Yeah, two S800s. One runs, perfect shape (engine, paint, interior) , bulletproof, and one is really fucked up. Had it sent on some sort of freight carrier over from the netherlands and the fuckers on the ship wrote "rice burner" and other ---- on it. Shoulda sprung for some decent shipping I guess. Still pissed about that. Engine on the sketchy one runs, but the carbs are fubar, so I can't get off my ass to make a decision about what to do with it. I stuck it in the garage and will wait till I'm old and (more) retarded to fix it up. |
