My turd, hmt'd 99 EX Coupe 56k=maybe..

As of right now it's running on a conservative street tune cause I'm a ------- idiot and forgot to hook up the wastegate before my first tune session :S. Needless to say the boost skyrocketed and we called it a day. Now everything is hooked up and running REALLY smooth. The remainder of my street tune will happen either Monday or Tuesday of this coming week, after that I should be golden. I won't bore you with too many details, pics are way cooler..

Day I got it..

Now.. I know, I know, I've got a lot of cleaning up to do, but that will happen over the next couple weeks. I'll be soldering all my injector wires, replacing ---- clamps with t-bolts, and replacing the Lowes couplers with silicone reducers. I have a laundry list of ---- that I have to get done..

If those are the -40 horsepower ebay filter. take it off and replace it with the paper ones.

Teh foam filters suck. I would get some fiberglass screening or some type of paper filter (K&N style). Looks good though, solid work O0

Holy god?! That's intriguing, because right now when I get on it a little, it doesn't feel like theres that much extra pull. Obvoiusly I've only tried once or twice being as I'm on a conservative tune and didnt want to ---- anything up. But anyway, I just thought the sluggishness was due to the conservative tune. I may have to pull that bitch off and see what happens.

btw, it wasn't an ebay one, but it is foam. The only other one I had was my AEM, but there was no way I could get it to fit in that tiny space, that's why I snatched this guy up. I was looking at another shroom style one, that appears to be some sort of fiberglass style but I'm not sure. Would that be sufficient? Heres a pic..
