Why would anyone put a turbo on a Mustang?

and i am aware of SSAC's reputation on many other sites. just because i dont post on other sites doesnt mean i dont/cant read them or know of other people local to me that drive other cars that visit those sites as well. what good is it for me to post on a Ford Probe site, or hondatech, or a DSM site, or a dodge dakota site, huh? i really only post on forums that i can at least contribute something to. degredation of me really doesnt work from trying to make me out as some internet newb, sorry.

and for buying parts that have failed over and over and over again? seems to me that the turbos hold up as well as any other brand out there and the failure rate looks to be the same as any other brand out there as well. and i still dont believe that kid with the epoxied turbo. i have my opinions on that too. the only repeatable concern i see with his stuff is his headers from the beginning until recently. and recently there have been quite the response to better quality headers and other welded items. at least he is making an attempt to be better.

i wont say that SSAC is a good company, nor will i say to buy from him. what i am saying is that you need to think outside the box at a higher level, he doesnt make everything he sells and items he sells can be found by other retailers. how many times have you bought a piece of ---- from walmart or have you forgotten your child hood of toys that were broken within 2 days of you having them or that $30 DVD player you got last year for xmas that wont even power up now? how many of those stories do you remember or know of? ---- ------- happens and life. if you cant at least gimme that then i wont even waste my time on this anymore.

My point is that you keep him in the business of selling shitty quality parts, but I guess that's just you "thinking outside the box".

WTF is this thinking outside the box ----? What does that have to do with shitty parts? No ---- he doesn't make everything he sells. I'd bet he doesn't make ANYTHING he sells. That doesn't justify how shitty they are and it doesn't make it right.
I don't quite see your point on this one. Are you saying that since other companies sell low quality parts that have a very high failure rate that it's ok for him to do it? That really doesn't make a lot of sence. I killed a man because of the color of his skin last night, but I'm gonna tell the judge to let me go since it's happened several times before.
There is a difference between "---- happens" and having a 99.9% failure rate. Nothing you say can justify the sales of such shitty products. You're not changing anybodies mind about this. We already know all about his ----.

you say that people on HMT knows not to buy that ----, seems to me that HMT actually is in the closet about using SSAC stuff, cause there are a lot of people that seem to have his ----.

you say he has a 99% failure rate? i know your joking, but seriously man, the failure rate of his products are not even remotely close to that.

he has what, 20,000+ ebay auctions? not including his other ID's that he has, so another 5,000 sells on ebay, plus whatever he sells just from the internet and not from ebay. even if he has had 2,500 people get bad product from him, thats still ONLY a 10% failure rate. and i can honestly say that i dont think i have seen even 200 people on the internet post about failure rates (fitmit issues aside).

that IMO is not to bad considering the shear volume of stuff this guy puts out.
