This is the HOME of ghetto-rigged turbocharger setups. What teacher on Earth would agree with any of you in that his student is going to be fine building a turbo setup based on the stuff on this site? I mean, seriously, one of the first listings in the Tech Projects section mentions blowing up an engine within the first day of it running on boost. Teachers can't condone this kind of project because of liability concerns. It's better to be saying, "I told you so" if he ***** it up.

No, you can't use a DSM manifold. And yes, your teacher is a dumbfuck.

When you showed him the site he probably saw some of the setups and how they can tend to look ghetto, and he assumed it functioned like it looked. Tell him that these turds can be polished, but his job will always be a piece of ---- no matter what.

Yes it can be hazzardous to your engine, but hey its cheap, so who cares?
Do it correctly and smite him.

First off, you gotta understand you just can't throw on a turbo and a set of injectors and go...just doesn't work that way. Keep reading a little while and you'll see a bunch of different options. As for the injectors you never mentioned what year car they are off of. I'm pretty sure you can't use them though. I did a vg30 swap in my old nissan pickup truck, and I remember the injectors looked completely different than a honda set.

what u have there is pretty good.
all u really need to do, in other words is complete the system by
connecting the pieces together...manifold>turbo>intercooler>intake manifold...
the turbo just needs a downpipe(5 bolt flange) and ur set(one that is made for ur car
and bolts up to the turbo)...u should also find some piping to connect ur intercooler to
the compressor side(u might want to get an intercooler that makes installation a lot easier)
and then piping from the intercooler to the intake manifold...however the items
that u have will work except the dsm manifold and the injectors(unless u know where they came
from)...the rest u should be able to use...any other questions?
