Guys,

I am a loyal fan of this site and Honda's. I had the love of my life stolen and I decided to fight back. Here are some pics of the video survellance I now have at home. Why do assholes always have to jack ---- - go and buy your own. I loved my car and I still get teary eyed when I look at the pics of what those ---- heads did to her. I hope my work inspires some of you do get some CC cameras for your own cars. We put our heart and souls into these cars only for some inbred mother fucker to come along and steal it. Well I say no more.

I had 3 situations with 3 different cars. My first Civic was a 1991 si hatch and they stole the whole damn thing - I never got it back. It was after this one I setup the CC Camera stuff.

The second car was stolen but I caught everything on camera. I got the car back and it was stripped clean. (pics included) This is when I got the new setup with the chime and motion sensors.

Then, finally, I got lucky with some other son-of-a-bitch trying to steal my Audi with my full new survellance system up and running. I woke up and caught the fucker and beat the ---- out of him. I only hope that you guys can do the same. It seems like we have to take ---- into our own hands these days. I didn't kill the guys but I worked him pretty good. Then I hog tied him and called the cops. I'm sure he won't try that ---- again.

Jeff recently had his ---- stolen again and I really feel for you man. Just remember, they always get it, eventually. I know it hurts but hopefully this makes some of you feel better about what happened to you.

I turned it off before I got caught on tape beating the ---- out of him. The cops took the tape from me and I didn't want any ---- to deal with.

I think it should be 100% legal to shoot thieves on the spot. You can shoot rapists, child molesters, aresenists, and murderers, but not theives. :-\ Something needs to change. I bet car theft would drop like 95% a few weeks after that law goes into effect......not that it ever will, but it would be nice.

The camera system I'm using cost me about $150 and I got it from Home Depot in the electrical department. Just go and ask. It works with all your existing stuff and is hard wired. They do have the wireless but then you have to worry about batteries all the time. It took me about half and hour to install. I strongly recommend this unit to anyone. It has motion sensor, volume sensor and you can get a separate controller to start recording only after the motion sensor is set off. It even has the door chime function with the motion sensor. That's how I caught the 2nd guy. The first guy was taped only using my first camera system and it didn't have any features. It was recording all the time.

damn... thats not a bad deal for$150. it makes me want to buy one, but since i live in the woods i guess it would be pointless... plus i figure if they can get past my dog then they deserve taking my car.

Technically, no. Chances are you'll face criminal charges for shooting a burglar. Unless you can prove that you feared for your life or your family members life you can't shoot. :-\ The laws are so fucked. I've taken two concealed weapons classes in Arizona and Nevada and they both have the same fucked up shitty laws that basically protect theives and burglars. Basically unless someone shoots you in the face you can't shoot back. ::) Really pisses me off........

On a side note, I just got pulled over and nearly shot by an officer. It's generally a good idea to tell the oficer you have a weapon in the vehicle. Good thing he didn't pop the trunk. :-X :o

I had that happen once. My landlord just let herself in and a bunch of other people. I should have came running out with guns drawn and ----, but I just stayed in bed until they left. Stupid bitch.....

the club is a joke, 5 seconds with a cordless sawzall and fresh metal blade is all it takes. Get a detachable steering wheel or put in a fuel cut-off, kill switch, or take out the ecu. all better options than the club in my opinion. later,

Sorry to hear about the theives, they should be shot.......that security system is really nice though for $150, makes me want one. What is the door chime feature? And how does the system alert you when it detects someone?

Legend,

It is a motion sensor camera setup that chimes every time the motion sensor is set off. It's great because then you will know when something is going on and that's how I caught the 2nd guy. It can also be used in a constant on position where the chime is disabled. Considering what you get, it was a damn good deal.

If not, I'm guessing you need a light always on in the driveway?

It is not a night vision camera. I have motion sensor lighting with flood lights. I put them in with the camera. All the broken glass was inside the car. They threw something into the car to break the glass.

Not too long ago I was in my garage toy'n with my car and after about 5min I backed up and saw a kid about 12yrs old with his head under my bushes, lying on the sidewalk. Im like ???. So, Im like HEY, and the kids face is all beaten after he picked his face up.
I go to him and ask what happened and he said two black kids took his phone and beat him up. I put him in my car and reversed to look for the guys. The kid was so scared that he was hiding in the back seat.
The thieves werent caught by me or the NYPD, but his family came by the next day to thank me for helping their son and all.
Living in NYC, there are so many stories I could tell you about, but I wont. :-X

i usually have two - three switches in the car. If the car doesnt start, the thief will start looking for the kill switch. And if they flip the wrong switch, it will be hooked up to a fuse that links up to the ECU and Fuel Pump. And once the fuse goes, it disable them from driving off with the car. haha.

Actually, if I read it right in the NYPost they did catch those 2 kids...something about they were bloods members or some ----. :P
