Default My (re)introduction

I just wanted to say hello, and (re)introduce myself..

I was previously a member of this board, but I think that username got deleted? I think I went by the name 'Lowboy'... I distinctly remember asking a few questions about Nissan hardbody trucks, and getting some good advice/knowledge from various people, including Jeff (Abaz) but this was probably 2 or 3 years ago... because I distinctly remember getting heckled by fiero_god someone who hasnt been on in awhile....

I am one of those guys that registers, and then posts maybe 30 times every year or so (usually when I am drunk... like right NOW)... I am here to gleen knowledge from the masses because I basically know ---- about ----.

Anyway... back to me. I USED to own a Nissan minitruck, which has since been sent to the junkyard.

My current project is a 1964 Chevy II (Nova) which is currently devoid of any engine or transmission. The paint and interior are pretty damn cherrry, and a V8 motor and tranny are soon to follow... I have yet to decide if I want a manual or automatic tranny.

I have been lurking for a couple years now, and have been following the "trailer trash" HMT V8 project with special interest.

I hope to learn a lot from this site, and be able to contribute even a FRACTION of what I learn.

Most recent pics of my Nova (which are about 3 months old) should show up... any glimpes of a 1928 Ford T bucket are purely figments of your imagination (that project is LONG term.. unless the money is right!)

I guess the T bucket isnt actually shown in these pics... I am sure it will amke a appareance this weekend... . the Nova NEEDS to be in the garage by this weekend.

Thanks again!

~Bryant

yes,,, I 'USED' to hang with tha Capn'... me and Captain Morgan were GREAT buddies for about 8 years up until about 7 months ago... I quit drinking for awhile. now I hve since started up again... just movd on to different alcohol. 7 and 7 is right for me!

For those that commented, the Nove DID have 383 stroker in after the 194" 6 cylinfer... I have my eyeballs on either a 350 SBC, or a 396 BBC... but adding a couple turbo's to a bog block is probably more difficult than I imagine.
