I say you get the cash from the settlement, buy your totaled car back from the insurance company for 200.00, fix the civic back with a JDM front end conversion with the exception of the SEIBON carbon fiber JDM hood (don't know where u gonna get that from), then go for fully built b16 turbo and pull 400 whp. Leave the V8 gas guzzler stock. Now where would you get a fully built b16 from? (hint hint)

NO SHYTE!! that sucks man it was looking great too. get as much money as possible from that bitch. i would say try and fix that civic and finish what you started dude. you never know maybe it will turn out better than what you origianally wanted. Good luck man!!
