Default My office on wheels (Work Truck Detail)

Thank for all your support guys. I hope this crappy hobby of mine doesn't bore you!
This is my work truck's Fall detail.

I did a few details this morning (4 actually...wash/vacs) and had some time left so I could finish up mine. I did the polishing and sealant yesterday evening after the race. So today I finish it up. I love my truck and with being a rolling billboard, I have to set an example of my work. You can also call this a mini-DP review.

Here's the details (no pun intended)....

Washed with NXT's car wash and clayed during wash

DP's Final Polish
(Applied with EDGE2K Orange "WAVE" pad at #5 PC setting)
Since I didn't have to many swirls, I just wanted to remove any wax and sealants that were present. I really like my new wave pads. I feel like I get better bite and a more constant pressure than with my normal pads. This polish is perfect for anyone. It really cleans and removes light swirls. Virtually no dusting and wipes off super easy. Surface was LSP ready.

DP's Surface Shield Sealant

(One spray per panel, buffed in with a short nap MF towel. Then turned over and buffed to a shine.)
So easy to protect a car with this product. I came out this morning after it cured and wow. Looked so nice. I could have left alone from there. But I can't.......I have Max Wax!

DP's Max Wax
(Applied by hand and foam applicator one panel at a time. Removed right after applying.)
Once again, Max Wax didn't fail me. Ease of use and looks say it all. Made my yellow truck's finish wet and deep. It's hard to get yellow right and Max Wax does it.

DP's Wheel Glaze
(Applied with a MF applicator, allowed to hazed, and buffed clean with a MF)
Wow.
Sums it up. This product removed brake dust that I could't even see. It was so easy to use....just as easy as Max Wax. Actually gave my wheel's finish some depth and a high gloss. I recommend this product to anyone.

Other Products Used:
Armor All Tire Foam
(Wheel Wells and engine bay)
Armor All Tire Gel
Stoner's Invisible Glass

Also do you use any of poorboys products ? I hear that they work great wheter you apply in shade or sun ? thanks

It's supposed to rain next weekend. I'll be more than happy to pay you $200 to wash my Jeep after I get done with it.

I use the flat EDGE2k pad for my pc and the waves for my rotary. The wave help to release heat and reduce splatter. The PC will not ever make enough heat to see any benefit from the waved pads. I can't say enough about EDGE pads and their other products. Their customer service is outstanding as well.

I have never used PoorBoy's products but have heard nothing but good things about them. They are very similar to Pinnacles XMT line that I use. Also very sun friendly with no dusting and lots of bite.

I pop in and out of detailcity every now and then. I mainly focus on autogeekonline.net and autopia.org.

I live in the mountains. I've seen my fair share of "orange" mud covered rides!

Just bring it!

The make a nice supercharger kit for it. Since it's not inline, would'nt a turbo be tough?
