I do like the sound of a nice straight 3" exhaust, but to be honest, I don't like the look of just a pipe sticking out from under the bumper. I dunno, nothing it set in stone yet. A mufflerless 3" exhaust with a nice tip is not out of the question either I guess. Ultimately, I will put on what I like that lets the engine perform the best.
ic.

i guess im just the opposite, i cant standany type of ugly *** muffler stickout the back. looks so tacky
That is the beauty of building cars, you can build it how you like it, doesn't matter what other people think. I appreciate your input though and like I said, nothing is set in stone yet, well, as far as the exhaust goes anyway.

I acually like the fart can but then again we all cant drive technology from 1955. I bet the high speed pot hole deal was fun I once seen a sink hole in the middle of the road/ hiway in washington that I could easily drive a geo into (no ----!) and all the road crew did was painted around it orange, just about lost a lifted 84 f-250 in it

Hey, thanks for the offer, i'll keep it in mind. As far as cost goes, man there is a wide variety of costs out there and they probably start as low as about $1700 for a motor, trans, ecu, etc... I have been researching it for along time and have read many horror strories from people who have bought motor sets from ebay or from some company that just came along. I bought mine from Heavy Throttle, it runs about $2500 for motor, trans, ecu, uncut wiring harness and igniotor. Like I said, you may be able to get it cheaper and you could pay more, but reputation says alot. All, the other stuff that I bought adds up quickly too, but I figured I have been waiting to do this for a long time and I am going to do it the way I want to :P

Yea, I knew the wing and body kit would not go over well with everybody here, but hey you can't please everyone, but at least you like some aspect of the car.

Thanks for the props guys. Yea I am hoping for around 230-250 rwhp on the initial set-up. I wanna get a feel for the car like that, then I am hoping to do some upgrades to put me around 325rwhp. I know there are people making around 500 on the stock internals, but I really don't want to get that crazy. We'll see

Thats a lot of $ just to install a smaller motor in there but to each their own I guess. Make sure you keep that KA around in case you graduate from the 2.0 and want to play with the big boys. Oh yes, I went there.
