****update..1-06-08 sorry no work done on the crx.damn furnace took a ---- so that needs attention first. the rex will be done soon!!!!! :(

well i built this car 4 years ago , was a pos crx hf. swapped y7/z6 built mini me. eagles /je all the standard ----.
did the si tranny wLSD. swapped in tokico blues and a z/10 traction bar. drove for a while back then then lost intrest in it when i got my turbo hatch. long story short, it has sat for like two years and ive decided to revamp her by going turbo with it. im going to replace the 11.5/1 slugs for some 9/1 low comp. then do a wire tuck and such. so ill be updating as i go so stay tuned for more build pics.

so my plan is to pull motor and replace pistons with l/c pistons and do tuck. need to get some new wheels,15-16's
and paint on car. some specs on car

interior is really clean and oh yeah already obd 1 converted
full hayame 2.5 ss exhaust
i do have some 550cc rc's and a cast log mani. that is t3/t4 single scroll flanged. some other parts..

this car is begging to be boosted, but dont know what turbo to run on d series
i dont know what turbo to run yet, but any suggestions will be welcome.

well i will be starting the motor tear down this weekend so hopefully ill have more pics and progress soon.

looks like you are off to a pretty decent start.
What #'s are you looking for, will depend on teh turbo you choose.

ill do the motor work first, then piece the kit together based on the turbo i choose to run.

You won't need a huge turbo at all for 250 whp, a .48/.60 T3 would do that perfectly.

I got a sweet greddy style cast mani for cheap if you want. never been used, the link is in my sig.

I dig the rex and i agree it wouldn't be hard to hit your numbers.

decent project... a word of advice take those huge ------- wheels off that car and throw some 15's on it!!!! other that ill be watching what happens.. good luck

hey, just because its not covered in metal shavings and stuff thrown about, doesnt mean it doesn't get used. hahaha

My place looks that clean once my builds or swaps get done. but in between swaps, it gets alittle messy. lol

The new porting area is outside in the make shift tarp/shed :) No more metal shavings everywhere

i wouldnt even pull the motor apart, slap a thicker cometic gasket on it to lower the compression to under 11:1 and turbo that. theres no reason to lower the compression to 9:1 for a 250HP car.

I always liked the T3 63/60 on a D series. Change out the oil pump, pan, and pickup from the y7 to the Z6 one. You'll lose the dipstick, but it's better than losing a rod bearing.

What rims are those? I like those old school spokes. How much are you selling them for, and what size are they?

yeah i heard about the weak ass y7 pump,deff going to change it out. as for the wheels they are enkei's 17's with 90%
tread life. dont really know what i want for them? whats your zip? shipping will be ridiculous.
