On another note, Corvette ZR-1 base price is 103 grand, another car I want but won't have.

No clue, I wouldn't be surprised if it was 90-100+ grand. The original NSX was marked up by the dealers way above MSRP, so I won't be surprised to see the same done with this one.

not that i did any research other than owning 2 but it is the closest thing to a crx. its shorter than a civic chassis so i dont know if id say the teg is its closest. and the only front end that car needs in the eg front convertion best by far. but what i see being the most likely is that they are going to chop the fit down to 2dr and make a model with a base model k in it.

but then again i def see honda going back to its roots and start ------- with the smart cars and making bike powered cars again. a new rex could really come out of that mind set. little badass 1200lb car with a 600 or even better a 954 screeming to 15k
